The NEW PRV Audio D280Ti-S Compression Driver offers a surprisingly smooth response and high efficiency from mid-range through high range frequencies thanks to the pure titanium diaphragm.

Perfect for studio monitors and stage monitors, and stage speakers where high sound quality is required. A 2 and 3 or bolt pattern ensures easy replacement with current 1” bolt-on horns and weighs just 3.3 lbs. A standard 1 3/8” screw ensures easy replacement with current 1” horns and weighs just 3.3 lbs.

D280Ti-B and D280Ti-S is designed to ensure a quality sound and long lasting play in most any environment and in the rare event you need to make a repair to your driver, simple, quick diaphragm replacements are available.

    Q Do I need a capacitors for this driver if am using a active crossover

    As long as your crossover will cut the frequencies below 1800hz, you do not need a capacitor.

    Q If I'm using the PRV DSP 2.8X is it necessary to use the capacitor that comes included?

    We recommend that you do not use the capacitor and use the DSP.

    Q Am I able to use one of your replacement diaphragms other than titanium to compare how they sound in this same driver? Which ones will fit the d280?

    The titanium diaphragm that comes in the D280Ti is proprietary to that driver because it is built into the back cover. Our other diaphragms will not interchange with this driver. You can see the replacement part here to get a better look at the diaphragm design.

    These are seriously loud and produce incredibly clear sound. I first had skar vx1 St tweeters and they were 120 watts rms. These tweeters are easily as loud on maybe 30 watts.
