This 10FR300 is insane. Fits anywhere but still hits hard, with tight lows, crystal-clear mids, and crisp highs. No need for a separate tweeter, it covers everything perfectly. Super easy to power up and sounds amazing. I just added some tweeters because I really like the highs, but I do not feel it is needed with this speaker.
I’m using this in a Marshall 10” cab and it sounds amazing with amp models from my Helix. Has an unfortunate rattle at around 125hz which is not the cabinet as the speaker also does this when run free air with tone generator. Hoping it lessens with more break in time. If this clears up I would whole heartedly recommend this speaker for guitar. It sounds amazingly natural.
High sensitivity
A little bright as was expected but plays very well. Can not beat the price.
Great loud speaker for voice/vocals
Good
We make slant cabinets for them with easy haul recessed handles and pole sockets for use as mains. Complete they only weigh 15 lbs. There physical size fools. These are the best single cone speaker ever. They are ballsie and can handle anything you throw at them. I’m put guitar, bass, keyboard and 3 vocals all at the same time. They are crystal clear, no matter what you put to them. Never any distortion, just great sound. The wedge cabinets with pole sockets allow us to use them as monitors or mains, or both. Best stage speaker ever.
