PRV 8MR400 8″ professional midrange speaker is purpose-built to cover from 90 Hz to 7,500 Hz in three-way speakers, but also works great as a door speaker in car audio applications. Easy to blend in with any 10″ or 12″ midbass and a super tweeter.

If you have compression drivers or super tweeters on your system the recommended LPF is 6,000 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.

Main driver in a JBL 29 AV was blown…someone got carried away cranking the tunes. JBL replacement was $230. I decided I’d give the 8MR400 a try first. It fit perfectly and sounds great! I’ve had it in for 30 days and cannot tell the difference from the other JBL 29 AV with original driver.
Amazing quality and clarity 5 stars across the bord only brand i ever used in my cars and boat
I used this speaker for my chuchero setup and I can definitely say it is more than worth it, the best 8 inch in this price point. At one point I paired 2 of these with the MDX 1200.2 amplifier and they screamed! Used them for months like that and nothing ever happened to them, happy with my purchase.
Amazing speakers . Delivery was extremely fast and packaged great . Speakers sounds amazing . Tested them first inside the house and then in the car and couldn’t believe the sound quality . Ordered 2 again and just need 4 more .
