The “bullet” phase plug is made from pure aluminum acting as a radiator cooling system for the voice coil and machined to perfection for even sound dissipation. Beyond good looks, this cone is extremely light, providing excellent damping to keep an incredibly natural yet accurate sound.
Also featuring a cloth M-roll surround helping resonance to be kept under control making for an easy transition to a super tweeter.
The suspension design of this midrange features the single layer spider – which connects to the coil former with premium stitched lead wires, all being driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling.
You can expect outstanding sound stage quality and realistic sound reproduction for a great value.
Built for compact spaces and able to handle 400 watts of continuous power. Its slim design makes this the perfect car audio door speaker, allowing it to be utilized in endless ways.

Things are just amazing. Running a pair of them with 4 pairs of the OEM replacement 6.5 6MB100-4 midbass which consist of e pairs in the door panels and 1 pair in the stock 6×8 location. The 8s can definitely keep up perfectly and they sound so crisp. Definitely recommend them if you don’t have a lot of depth clearance.
Speakers arrived clean and work great. I have been using them for about 2 weeks now. I just recently broke them in and the mid bass is just ‘chefs kiss’ in my opinion. Punchy, clear and LOUD! The free sticker decals came a little bent but that’s about it.

This is a nice high quality speaker, really clean and crisp sound. I’m getting tweeters for my Camaro next.
I added this speaker today. I already have 4 6X9 full range. With this 8″ added, it more clear and crisp.

High quality at a decent price point. They sound great already and I’m sure they’ll get better once the surrounds break in. Was not expecting the bullet to be stationary. Definitely a cool touch. Installed in the factory locations in my 09 A4 front doors. The slim design fits perfect and clears the window regulators unlike the other 8″ speakers I was looking at. Definitely would recommend.
