PRV Audio is proud to present our MT8SW800 D4 Subwoofer from the MOTO Series (MT), a high performance line dedicated to motorsport installations.
Designed for small enclosures, this subwoofer will work in motorcycle saddlebags, slingshot pods, or any other enclosure around 1 cubic foot in size. This sub is made from the best materials and components to withstand the elements, so you can enjoy the highest low frequency output while riding or sitting in an open parking lot.
- Experience deep, powerful bass on the open road, without having to sacrifice the whole space inside your saddlebags.
- 4 layer high-temperature copper voice coil capable of handling 800 watts RMS program power, which makes high acoustic output
- High roll U surround is attached to the cone with dual stitching allowing a generous 14 mm of Xmax for deep bass reproduction without any issues.
- Another Key premium components that ensure power handling, durability at high excursion are its large premium grade spider with weaved copper tinsel lead.
- Side Forced Cooling System with vented back plate Design for Better Heat Dissipation
- Dual 4 Ohm, Works well with Mini MDX1800.1 1 Ohm Connect two subs in parallel to 1 ohm
Its shallow profile takes up very little space inside any enclosure. This compact design will fit and sound great in any saddlebag that has about 1 cubic foot.
Recommended enclosure:
- Compact Sealed Box: 0.9 cubic feet
- Compact Ported Box: 1 cubic foot with a 3″ Diameter by 6″ Long Port Tube tuned at 47Hz
- Optimal Ported Box: 1.25 cubic feet with a 3″ Diameter by 9″ Long Port Tube tuned at 39Hz

Installed these on my 2016 SG in stretched bags. They definitely gave me the xtra bass I was looking for. Right now I definitely have them under powered but will be fixing that real soon.
Very impressed with the sound good value for the price. Still haven’t fine tune yet.

Never had to use it but I also heard the warranty is exceptional too
I used this, one of the PRV sealed basket 8’s, and two PRV tweeters in a Harbor Freight Tool box portable bluetooth boom box build and I couldn’t be happier! The clarity combined with the bass this sub puts out is top notch. The sealed cage mid range is perfect for these types of small builds! Thank you!
