Aside from its attractive appearance, this carbon fiber cone is exceptionally light, surprisingly rigid, and provides great damping to keep narrow peaks under control.
Despite its extremely compact design, our technical team was able to achieve precision in the vocal reproduction range, resulting in the famous PRV audio PRO Audio sound.
A special treated surround and flat spider suspend the cone and keep it linear through the limits of excursion with minimal restriction, further improving dynamics and transients.
This midrange features many premium components, one of which is stitched lead wires, which connect the voice coil to the terminals through a single layer spider suspension, all being driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling, complemented by a high strength neodymium motor that immerses the voice coil in a strong magnetic field.
You can expect excellent off-axis and transient response from this water-resistant speaker for a great, controlled sound, making an easy transition to a super tweeter.
Built for loud, clear vocal performance in tight, compact spaces, PRV Audio’s MT6MR400CF-NDY-4 SLIM midrange features a sensitivity of 95 dB (2.00V/1m) and weighs about 1.63 pounds! 4 ohm impedance.

The MT6MR400CF-NDY-4 is a slim, lightweight 6.5 that solves one of the biggest problems in custom installs: space. With its shallow mounting depth and neodymium motor, it fits where normal mids won’t without adding weight or stressing panels.
Performance wise, it hits way above its size. The carbon fiber cone gives it a clean, detailed midrange, and the frequency response stretches high enough that vocals, instruments, and upper mids come through smooth and crisp. It’s efficient, loud, and stays clean even when you lean on it.
If you need a compact mid that delivers real clarity and range without the bulk, this one’s a killer choice. Take a look at my video showing it compared to the 6MR500CF-NDY-4.

Sounds a 100% better than the speakers that were in it. Now I can hear the music at Hwy. speeds and the bike has loud exhaust

Speakers sound great. I replaced the factory Harley Davidson speakers with these and they are a lot louder and clear without an amp or DSP. I will be adding both soon so I’m looking forward to seeing what they sound like with max power pushing them.
Put 4 of these in my Polaris RZR TurboR and they freaking sound amazing! So loud, but crystal clear through a DSP, perfectly tuned with an oscilloscope and RTA on 150w each. THEY ARE KILLER!

These speakers are amazingly clear and loud. I installed 2 of these 6.5’s and 2 PRV 6×9’s with a 1000W PRV amp in my Road Glide. It’s crazy how loud and clear my music is at 80mph on the highway. I would definitely recommend these speakers or any PRV product. They are top quality.
If your looking for drop in fit for your harley no mods this is it i put this in my tour pack pods no spacers to replace previous set and there loud thinkingof using these i the lids also
