The PRV Audio 12MR2000 midrange offers outstanding durability and is our most powerful midrange loudspeaker with a 4 inch voice coil. This mid is an ideal option for high power 2 or 3-way systems. It produces excellent vocal support for stage monitors, chuchero boxes, custom car doors and stuntwalls.
- 4″ Inside/Out copper clad voice coil wound on fiberglass former for high-temp performance – 8 Ohm
- One of the most outstanding pro audio midrange for high SPL systems, this 2000 Watts 12″ midrange is one beast of a speaker!
- Excellent performance in compact enclosures such as Chuchero® and custom ported boxes for punchy midbass ( Tukuteo® )
- During hard play, the large 4″ voice coil provides very high efficiency while providing smooth and accurate midbass response.
With excellent damping characteristics, the lightweight paper cone and accordion surround gives this mid smooth response up to 5,000 Hz for that incredibly clear vocal response that PRV midranges are known for.
Developed to perform well in tight enclosures, its triple roll surround keeps its cone travel linear at high mibdass excursion.
Featuring a large 4″ voice coil, it provides exceptional sound clarity and ensures durability and consistent performance over time.
Featuring the biggest ferrite magnet motor ever, combined with other fine materials, were chosen to increase sensitivity and power handling to deliver the finest details in audio, as demanded by most musicologos and custom builders in the car audio.
The extensive venting through the motor and cast aluminum frame helps to dissipate that heat to keep power compression low even after extended periods of high output.

If you have compression drivers on your system the recommended LPF is 1600 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.

For Chuchero we do recommended to use Midrange Speakers - All our midrange speakers can play midbass ( Chuchero only play 120Hz and up midbass - due to the small enclosure - Midrange speakers still have a solid midbass response and strong vocals and better instrument details
For 4 of these speakers you can use the QS7000 2 Ohm (https://prvaudio.com/products/qs7000-2-ohm/) You would connect all speakers in parallel to the amplifier, each speaker would get 1,750 Watts of power. The D3220Ti (https://prvaudio.com/products/d3220ti/) is a good driver to pair with these speakers.

I purchased 8 of these 12’s and let me tell you these 12’s is no joke, they’re so clean and very clear, the sound is amazing and I will NEVER go back to EV’S again, the mid range is crazy… it’s gotten to the point where you can feel the Air sucking out of you just off of the 18FH2400 v2 alone… thanks PRV Audio… you guys have a customer as long as I’m messing with car audio
