The Pair of TW100SD-4 silk dome tweeter (also referred to as a soft dome) is designed ideally for 2-way system, as an upgrade for that standard factory tweeter. It is the perfect balance between high fidelity sound and a compact design, making this 28 mm dome tweeter a preferred choice for high-end car sound systems.
The usage of neodymium magnets as power house ensures high efficiency while still keeping size small, with only 2.16″ diameter and less than 0.50″ of mounting depth on a sleek flush-mount design. Its cloth diaphragm combines with the durable, yet lightweight, Kapton™ voice coil former for sensitivity levels of up to 92 dB from 2,000 to 20,000 Hz.
Not only does this silk tweeter look as good as it sounds, its design makes it easy to fit in different locations, with a option of angle mounting bracket. A built-in capacitor is included to attenuate low frequency ranges, ensuring best sound reproduction on a wide frequency range.

TW100SD-4 (PAIR)
The PRV TW100SD-4 is one of those tweeters that people sleep on until they actually hear them. These things are great for OEM replacement locations. The size, the depth, the mounting, everything just drops right in without fighting the car although you may need to make small modifications to get them to fit perfect. But once they’re in, they don’t scream, they don’t stab your ears, they don’t get harsh. They give you that smooth, natural top end that most factory systems are missing.
PRV didn’t tune these to be “show-off” tweeters. They tuned them to sound balanced and clean, even at higher volumes. Vocals stay crisp, cymbals have that nice shimmer without getting brittle, and the overall tone matches almost any good midrange without you having to EQ the hell out of it.
They’re lightweight, efficient, and they take EQ beautifully if you want to get fancy. But the real strength is simple:
If you want a drop-in tweeter that actually sounds like a quality upgrade instead of a cheap, bright add-on, the TW100SD-4 nails it. Most OEM locations? Perfect fit. Daily driver? Smooth as butter. Clean highs without the attitude.
So this is the first time purchasing a PRV product I’ve been in the car audio scene for about 20 years having owned various brands and these tweeters you cannot beat for the value they sound awesome if tuned right and or use high quality crossovers , for now i have them in passive crossovers and they seem to do them right. I like the sound of silk dome tweeters in general because of the realistic sound they produce and these prvs don’t disappoint!! I suggest headphones to watch my uploaded video.
They are pretty good tweeters. They have excellent build quality that I can say for sure. You can tell when you pick them up. They have good weight to them and made of metal not cheap plastic. They are decently loud. I honestly expected them to be a little louder. But if you have a stock system and want to add them running to your head unit. They would be perfect for that situation. And for the price you really can’t go wrong especially with how well they are made.

I ran into a few guys at shows running PRV’s, I liked what I heard and ordered a few items fort myself to try out. These in particular have impressed me alot. Considering they don’t have some crazy power handling claims, they are loud and efficient.
