For high output speaker systems, PRV Audio’s 10MB800FT mid bass is an excellent option capable of amazing performance. A great new addition to the Forte Series, where more power handling and less distortion on mid low mid bass frequencies is the key.

The 10MB800FT is a rugged 10″ mid bass that combines mid bass punch and mid clarity at remarkable SPL output with low distortion and extended mid bass response. Optimized for use in compact enclosures, this mid bass speaker provides a smooth vocal response with great output from 500 Hz to 1500 Hz and useful response up to 6,500 Hz, making it a great choice for larger 2 and 3 way systems.

  • 2.5″ Inside/Out aluminum voice coil wound on fiberglass former for hi-temp performance, 8 ohms
  • Ventilated voice coil gap reduces power compression
  • High Xmax for more mid bass output
  • 800 watts continuous program power rating makes the high acoustical output
  • Excellent performance in 2-way or 3-way systems

To get superior fidelity, the special composite cone is built with non-pressed paper for a reduced break-up, delivering a smooth frequency response and a low moving mass, increasing the efficiency of the speaker. The Perfect speaker for TUKUTEO® sound.

The high sensitivity rating of 99 dB 1W/1M which makes it capable of generating a lot of output! This 10″ is a great mid bass option for pro audio systems or high SPL automotive systems, where extremely high output is required.

The voice coil is wound on a 2.5″ glass fiber with aluminum wire keeping weight to a minimum for an incredibly quick transient response. Engineered with 11 mm of winding depth, this inside/outside voice coil provides excellent thermal and mechanical durability.

Popular Combination with the 10MB800FT is the WG2500Ti Titanium Compression Driver – with Our DSP 2.8x ( digital sound processor ) the PRO Audio On Wheels systems can easily tune both components to blend in together with the following settings:

10MB800FT – High Pass Filter HPF 95 Hz BT18 Filter to Low Pass Filter LPF 1800 Hz BT12  Following the compression driver from 1200Hz all way to 17,000Hz

Recommended system package 8x 10MB800FT + 4x WG2500Ti

Q If i wire 8 of these speakers down to 1ohm, would they still have the same good clarity? Would they be safe at 1ohm?
Asked by Glenson Lewis Goodwin on July 2, 2020 2:07 am

Yes you can wire them together at 1 ohm and they would perform just as they should. Be sure to use proper tuning and an amplifier that would provide the proper power at 1 ohm such as the PRV 8k 1 ohm.

Q I am tryimg to get the the best crossover setting for 2 of these wires down to 4ohms to a 3000 1 channel. whats the best HP(hz) and LP(hz) settings for best loud and clear voice without bass coming thru these speakers. They are both on a closed speaker box
Asked by BarberoV on June 25, 2020 5:53 pm

These are midbass speakers so they will produce midbass. The recommended HPF is 120hz @BT12. You can set the LPF about 3000hz to see how you like it. The LPF really depends on how you like to listen to your music and the rest of your setup.
